Visit to Romania

Graham Jackman, Martin Ball and Jean Pearson travelled to Romania on 8-17 November, visiting the ecclesias in Bucharest, Brasov, Craiova and Caracal. While they were at Brasov, they were happy to baptise Gabriel and Maria, who had met at the Bible School in August and were recently married.

Preaching dinner

In a new venture on 14 October, we invited people who have shown an interest in our beliefs to a dinner in our hall. There were 40 present, of whom 19 were visitors, and we were treated to a wonderful three-course meal by candlelight. Between the courses, there were three short talks about the Christadelphians. We hope that the event helped our visitors to feel comfortable in our hall and to renew their interest in our message.

Outing

Abigail This year's outing for the church members and Sunday School on 11 June was to Whipsnade Zoo, where everyone was excited to see the 1-day old baby rhinoceros (below). Afterwards there was a barbecue at Chris and Rita's home in Warfield Park. On the right is Abigail.
